\n Everyone at Amada was so helpful and caring.\nI was very nervous having unknown people come into my house at all hours. But I felt very comfortable as soon as I met all the caregivers.\nThey were very kind and professional in appearance and behavior.When I needed to make a phone call to Amada the staff always answered immediately. They sent weekly notices so I knew who would be coming.\nDaniel and Javier were my two main caregivers and we were very happy with them. They always arrived on time and were very easy to talk to with both me and my sick husband. They became part of the family. They were also very good with our dog.\nWe no longer need the caregivers now but if and when I need caregivers again. Amada will get my call. Thank You!\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n Amada Senior Care was very helpful in providing care to my mother following a hospital stay. They were easy to work with and tried to match caregivers that fit my mom\u2019s needs. They helped her with things around the house and took her out into the community on errands and appointments when necessary. The office staff was prompt with communication, and would always contact me if there were scheduling issues or something to discuss regarding my mom\u2019s care. Caregivers Missy and Espie were favorites of my mom\u2019s, they were very helpful and friendly and she felt comfortable having them in her house. Having Amada caregivers gave me and my siblings some peace of mind knowing they were with our mom and able to help her as needed. We would use them again in the future if necessary.\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n As my husband and I aged we realized we both had health issues we could no longer help on our own and needed more help. We did get a care agency to come in but the one we chose did not fit us well and we decided to change agencies. We found Amada Senior Care and were so happy we changed. They have helped in so many ways. With Long Term care for my husband and Veterans benifits as well. My husband was in and out of the hospital and the care givers we had, Laura and Ysabel helped and cared for us in all of the times we went through. My husband passed away in Dec. and I am alone but my care givers are with me here from 9-5 everyday taking excellent care of me an give me morale and kind support always ,making my new journey so much easier. Each person we met was great! Rebecca and Sarah stood out in front. So concerned in seeing to it that we had help, that my dad was cared for and comfortable with the upmost respect! Sarah was there the day my father passed. She arrived as he was being taken to the mortuary. She didn\u2019t have to, she could have gone home, yet she stayed and consoled our family in the most difficult time and experience of our lives. She shared tears with us and provided such great comfort. It is wonderful to know that there are people out there who treat you and your loved ones as far more than someone to get money from. \n I was pleased with the caretakers Amada sent to my home.They arrived on time, were well groomed, professionally dressed and easy to get along with.\nYes, some were better than others as there were a few who only did the minimum which was to take care of me and others who made sure everything was in order, changed bedding and did laundry, cleaned up the kitchen after preparing meals and loaded the dishwasher, swept and mopped the floor.\nMimi consistently kept everything in order, did laundry, and even would make me an afternoon snack.\nThe Amada caretakers responded to my needs. \n We have had several care givers from Amada for the last 5 weeks and they have all been great but Emily stands out the most. She is excellent! Always going above and beyond and doing little things not on the care plan like shaving my dad and then charging his razor, helping my dad when their assisted living was very slow to respond, giving my mom flowers on Mothers Day, hugging my mom when she leaves, leaving me notes about things going on, telling me about dads medication schedule, etc. You can tell that she does care giving because she enjoys doing it and not just because it is a paycheck. My dad is getting better and we are ending Amada care soon but will definitely be calling Amada if we need care again and specifically requesting Emily!\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n I’d like to thank Amada Senior Care for their responsive and compassionate care for my father. I had to coordinate care from out of state and Angela and her team made what felt like a heavy task to facilitate became quite easy. I received regular updates and felt very comfortable in their screening process. Mary was one of my dad’s caregivers and happy to know his companions shared common interests; Angela and her team listened and provided excellent service. \n After my 92 year old father had a stroke and we found that rehabilitation wasn’t going to work, my brothers and I wanted to honor my dad’s wish to return home and finish his days there. Choosing an in home senior care partner is not easy. It really comes down to reviews (which is why I am leaving this one) and the connection that the caregivers will have with your loved one. In our case, we were blessed to have an amazing caregiving team (my dad needed 24 hour care). This team coordinated with Providence Hospice (which was also amazing) to monitor my dad’s status each and every day. There were days that we were there to witness the type of care that he received, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the people that cared for dad. I specifically want to mention Sayra B. She and my dad got along so well. She was so sweet with him and he was so agreeable with her. It was touching to listen to. Also, Albert A., who had a different connection with my dad, sharing stories of growing up and common interests, provided male companionship that my dad enjoyed. He was great with my dad. In addition, Laurann N. and Silvia O, who handled many of the “sunset” hours with grace and care. It wasn’t easy, but they were patient and made it look easier than it was. Lastly, thank you, Angela, for taking every one of my phone calls, for being there to have frank conversations, and for being so responsive through every change in my dad’s condition right to the very end. You and Michael lead a great company and my family and I will be forever grateful.\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n I am so thankful to have found Amada when I needed more help caring for my elderly, disabled mother. Amada was recommended by a social worker I trust and I was very pleased with my initial interview with Angela. She was understanding, helpful, and kind. The scheduling staff is wonderful too and I love that I can text them when I can’t call. And the billing guy, Michael, is an angel! I absolutely love that he bills the insurance directly. It takes that off of my plate and I am so grateful. The Amada caregiver Sarah has truly been heaven-sent! She is kind, respectful, understanding, flexible, eager, a quick learner, and an incredibly hard worker! Sarah is the only caregiver my mother has ever really liked and therefore she allows her to help her with more personal tasks. This has been lifesaving for me. Sarah is always on time and doesn’t rush off at the end like she can’t wait to leave. She is thorough, nonjudgemental, enthusiastic, considerate, well-mannered, and always wants to help more. She goes above and beyond with my Mama. Sarah is good at following a recipe and can cook based on what Mama wants and what we’ve already got. She’s a good driver too. Also, Sarah is intuitive and looks out for my mother in the same way I do. I trust her entirely and I feel so grateful that we’ve found such a magnificent match and wonderful helper! \n My caregiver Laurann is just the greatest, I’ve never seen anyone as active and full of energy, ready and willing to help. She’s professional and alway cheerful too! I’m sorry to see it’s time for her to leave each day, we would love to have her right here every hour of the day. With caregivers as professional and giving, as Laurann, it shines an obvious bright light on Amada’s Senior Care Service. My experience with Amada Senior Care has been without fault, I can’t imagine how they could possibly improve their service, it’s run with that much caring, that much professionalism, and just that perfectly in my opinion. The owners Angela & Michael have been most helpful to our needs, which started right in the middle of the Holiday Season last year, when no other service could find any caregivers to send, yet Amada came through with the caregivers immediately, also they have handed our long term care insurance needs with ease.
